WEEK 1
"After spending some time with fellow students in my new course, we started discussing the creation of our fresh portfolio websites using the WIX website builder. Although I already had some of my design work online, I realized this new site would present my work and marketing skills much more effectively. WIX is quite impressive; it’s user-friendly while offering advanced features such as SEO integration and e-commerce options. I will definitely be using it for future site designs."

WEEK 2
"Today, I explored the Cap Cut app for creating 'reels.' With some prior experience in motion graphics, I had a bit of an advantage while making a video for The Mossley Hill Tennis Club in Liverpool. I was amazed at how effortlessly the app allowed me to produce a video, and I was pleased with how quickly I could complete my work. Afterward, we uploaded our videos to our personal YouTube channels, and I shared my creation with the group."
WEEK 3
"I’m working on an anti-vape campaign, which is a new challenge for me since I haven't written anything like this. Fortunately, I found plenty of useful information online to guide me. I created the design using Canva, which was exciting to learn. Additionally, we developed a new website to promote our campaigns. Throughout this process, I also learned how to create research surveys and analyse the results, which is a valuable skill for the future."

WEEK 4

"I was already aware of the significance importance of SEO in marketing and its role in boosting website visibility. However, through this course, I've developed a deeper understanding of SEO strategies, such as the effective use of keywords. Utilizing a tool like Semrush provides real-time updates on the impact of my site's keywords. As a result, my website has improved its position in Google rankings"
WEEK 5
"I had a prior interest in email marketing, so it was exciting to create an advertisement for a furniture company as part of my homework. I conducted research on the business and developed a more effective theme for their marketing campaign."
